The firm was founded in Sept 2024 jointly by Scotiabank and 3 unaffiliated Indigenous shareholders (Nch'Kay Development Corporation, Des Nedhe Development Corporation, and the Chippewas of RAMA First Nation). CLCI participates in underwriting syndicates for Canadian Corporations and Provincial Government Issuers of debt securities and operates under a regulatory-approved Type 2 Introducing / Carrying Broker arrangement with Fidelity Clearing Canada for purposes of trade clearing, settlement and reporting.
