Description of Activities
The BC Trucking Association (BCTA) is the recognized voice of the commercial road transportation industry in British Columbia. Founded in 1913, BCTA is a province-wide, non-partisan, non-profit industry association formed to advance the interests of motor carriers in BC. BCTA's membership comprises motor carriers hauling every conceivable type of freight. It also includes waste management companies, charter and scheduled bus companies, ready-mixed concrete and courier companies. BCTA provides its members with information, training, educational and networking opportunities as well as safety and compliance products and programs and services to enhance members' businesses.
