Description of Activities
1. To advance the business of tree fruit growers by developing and promoting industry strategies that improve growing practices, packing, and marketing of tree fruits; 2. To advance horticultural knowledge and practices for tree fruits in all its branches; 3. To advance the tree fruit economy through promotion of government laws, regulations, programs and taxes that are beneficial for tree fruit production in British Columbia; 4. To facilitate the successful marketing of agriculture products (this shall be construed to prohibit the BCFGA from entering into business to sell fruit, with the exception of fruit sales at fairs which are conducted for promotional purposes); 5. To collect, arrange and disseminate information on all matters pertaining to the tree fruit industry; and
