Encourage the government to become engaged in the current labour negotiations between Western Pacific Marine and BCGEU which results in a fair and equitable collective bargaining agreement that addresses safety in the workplace, monetary conditions that are conducive to the current economics in British Columbia. We request that the government start the process to make the inland ferry system fall under the government of British Columbia versus a private contractor.
