"Ledcor Forestry and Marine is a BC based company that harvests pine beetle wood from forests and waste wood from urban environments across the province to manufactures cants, wood chips and biomass in Chilliwack. The cants are produced primarily for export to Asia. Wood chips are used by coastal pulp and paper mills. The carbon neutral biomass is used to create energy. LF&M is lobbying the BC Government and its agencies to extend the BC Hydro Energy Purchase Agreement with its primary customer for wood chips & biomass - Howe Sound Pulp and Paper."
