Description of Activities
Covenant House Vancouver (CHV) is a non-profit agency in Vancouver that supports youth 16 to 24 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Dedicated to serving youth with absolute respect and unconditional love, CHV aspires to not only lend aid to youth facing homelessness, but to also protect and safeguard all youth who need a safe space. Our programs are trauma informed, client centered, and strengths based. To ensure we can meet the needs of all youth we offer various services based on a ‘Continuum of Care.’ Our three core components are: Community Support Services (drop-in and outreach), Crisis Program (immediate shelter), and Rights of Passage (transitional housing). Using a ‘one-size fits-one’ model, these services include trauma informed case management, in-house counselling and access to life-skills training and mentorship.
