Description of Activities
Represent the interests of university faculty associations and their 5,500 members at BC's five research universities, including University of Northern British Columbia, University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, University of Victoria, and Royal Roads University. CUFA BC's broad objectives are: 1. To promote faculty members' interests to the provincial government. 2. To provide services to member faculty associations as requested. 3. To promote the value of post-secondary education, academic freedom, and research to the wider public. CUFA BC also informs public policy and produces timely research and policy analysis in the areas of core funding, collective bargaining, and shared and collegial governance.
