CUTRIC is requesting funding to conduct a feasibility analysis regarding hydrogen and battery electric light, medium & heavy-duty vehicles and fuelling systems for provincially regulated fleet, BC Hydro. The funding would predict how BC Hydro could electrify its diverse fleet, and would help showcase what other provincially regulated fleets and municipal fleets need to do in order to electrify their own fleets. Lessons learned within the project would help the government continue its plan to decrease GHG emissions and its current climate targets, whilst bolstering the BC clean tech landscape.
