Adequate funding of public education and concerns around prevalence model funding. Providing ongoing support for the curriculum by providing new technology, lab equipment, learning materials, and professional development supports for teachers. Provide anchor funding for inclusive education in identified needs, including dedicated funding for students in "high incidence" categories. Provide targeted funding to support the early identification and designation of students with diverse needs. Commitment to ongoing funding for BC First Nations language authorities to work with BC public school teachers to develop local curriculum.

Advocating for adequate consultation and inclusion for teachers, students and staff who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC), as it relates to the public school system and institutionalized racism at a societal level. Consult with BCTF to implement a plan of action to address racism experienced by staff, students and families in BC schools. Work with educational partners in the public school system to increase the number of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit teachers working in BC schools. Address issues of gender-based violence and Indigenous women who are highest risk.
