FLNRO developed an Allocation Working Group to review the impact of full implementation of the Harvest Allocation Policy. Because of the $10 M loss to the outfitting sector, FLRNO agreed to help with increased flexibility in outfitter quotas. The intent was to increase the time horizon from 1 year to 5 years and increase the Administrative Guideline to help outfitters harvest their 5 year quota.

If outfitters cannot use their quota because the international border is closed, allow the unused quota (allocation) to be carried forward into the 2022-2026 allocation period.

If access not provided to the outfitter then compensation payable to the displaced tenure holder. Treating all British Columbians equally and fairly will truly advance reconciliation.

Review and comment on the draft report on the sustainable annual take of lynx in the Okanagan Region of British Columbia. Including conversations regarding the possible translocation of BC lynx to Washington State.
