Advocate for consumer choice and more competition in the BC auto insurance marketplace. Remove existing barriers to competition and create a level playing field in the BC auto insurance market by ensuring all auto insurers have real time and equal access to market data and driver claims history. Ensure a independent regulatory oversight be established to ensure fair competition and ensure all insurers operate under the same rate regulation framework.

Insurance
|
Advocate on current challenges in the BC strata insurance market. Engage and work with government to improve challenges currently seen with strata corporation insurance to improve affordability. This includes mandatory education for strata board councils, improved building codes to improve property losses and improve risk, amend depreciation report requirements to remove exemptions. Advocate for a standard strata lot in the Strata Property Act.
