Lobbying activities relate to workforce development, apprenticeship completion, labour mobility, and skills training initiatives supporting British Columbia’s construction and skilled trades sectors, including pathways to Red Seal certification, apprenticeship retention and completion supports, workforce participation and retention initiatives, skilled trades mental wellness supports, and workforce readiness for major projects. Activities may include discussions regarding partnerships with training institutions, WorkBC alignment, labour market participation, provincial program and policy alignment, and potential provincial funding or financial support for skilled trades workforce initiatives and related community infrastructure projects.
