Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation
Lobby for changes to the Small and Medium-sized Business Recovery Grant eligibility. Currently, the eligibility criteria will not include many of the Tourism businesses the grant is intended to help, including all outfitters. This changes need to includes eliminating the PST requirement, reducing the number of employees to two, improving the methodology to demonstrate loss and reducing the burden on the application.

COVID-19
Softening of the International borders, when safe to do so. Support the Alternate Self Isolation Plan - allowing low risk clients to self isolate while participating in the tourism expedition they are coming to BC to do, simultaneously. Also to allow the international client to leave Canada in less than 14-days. This would be done consistent with the industry Best Practices and all Provincial Health Officer's orders and guidelines.
