BC requires more skilled electrical workers and construction professionals to support the government and BC Hydro’s capital plans (hospitals, schools, power facilities, infrastructure), and private construction projects (housing, commercial, industrial, etc). Intended Outcome: Increased funding and support for electrical apprentices to increase the number of apprentices and journeypersons.
