GOABC offered a Range Stewardship Program to government. This is a sector-wide stimulus and job protection initiative is aligned with the BC COVID-19 Action Plan. The program leverages the skills, knowledge and infrastructure in the guide outfitting community to help protect, clean the backcountry and deliver other wildlife stewardship initiatives during the times of the pandemic.

Lobby for changes to the Small and Medium-sized Business Recovery Grant eligibility. Currently, the eligibility criteria will not include many of the Tourism businesses the grant is intended to help, including all outfitters. This changes need to includes eliminating the PST requirement, reducing the number of employees to two, improving the methodology to demonstrate loss and reducing the burden on the application.
