Advocating for more culturally-appropriate counselling and crisis support services that are tailored for diverse communities, particularly newcomers, youth, women, seniors, and families who have lower levels of English language proficiency. This includes sharing and discussing feedback on existing service models, service scopes and policies, expanding eligibility criteria, and adjusting funding models to ensure that more British Columbians are able to access these important services for their health and well-being, and that these services are sustainable for service providers.
