Advocacy for a COVID-19 Emergency Response for Justice that addresses housing, low-wage and precarious workers, migrant workers, vulnerable neighbourhoods, homeless populations, vulnerable families, children and youth, and everyone below the poverty line including those sheltering in crowded shelters. Focus on a suite of 7 main policy solutions plus 33 policy solutions proposed by a range of BCPRC members to tackle the necessary emergency policy response to safeguard vulnerable populations as the pandemic hit BC.

Advocacy related to the COVID-19 pandemic regarding the implementation of a program providing $10-a-month Internet access for all living in British Columbia below the Market Basket Measure poverty line, and all those accessing any form of education in the province. Advocacy to also implement, as a part of this Internet affordability initiative, a BC Technology Fund to provide access to technology for all in the program, as well as increased province-wide training in safety, security and online digital literacy.
