BCCA is advocating for a recurring evaluation of the Builders Lien Act to ensure that it meets the needs of the industry and inherent objectives of the Act.

- Development or enactment of any regulation, including the enactment of a regulation for the purposes of amending or repealing a regulation
- Development, establishment, amendment or termination of any program, policy, directive or guideline of the government of British Columbia or a Provincial entity

BCCA is seeking to develop public sector procurement capacity in accordance with the Guide to Calling Bids, Awarding Contracts and Trade Contractors Guide and Checklist, and Guidance for the Release of Information&/or Documents Related to Competitive Procurement Opportunities. BCCA is working with industry stakeholders to introduce Prompt Payment Legislation for BC.
