To exchange information, ideas and options related to BC's cement industry relating to BC's climate change and air emissions policies, laws & regulations including the transition to and Output Based Carbon Pricing Scheme; the Gas Reduction Targets Act, the Clean Growth Climate Action Plan, and the Clean Growth Incentive Program and Industrial Incentive Funds. To advocate for the acceptance of alternative and renewable fuels for use in cement manufacturing and the cement low carbon fuel program; and for advocating for the industry's solid waste & waste recovery solutions. To discuss and analysis of the competitiveness and other impacts of the Carbon Tax and seek amendments and alternatives to mitigate the impacts on the cement industry including financial incentives.
