To discuss the crisis in family medicine, the challenges faced by family doctors, and the ways family doctors and government can work together in the interest of patients. Almost 1 million British Columbians don’t have and can’t get a family doctor, while evidence shows that an ongoing relationship, rather than episodic care, results in better patient health outcomes.
