The British Columbia Co-operative Association is seeking changes to the Cooperative Associations Act and associated regulations, as well as changes to taxation and policy measures to ensure co-operatives have access to benefits provided to other businesses in a fair and equitable manner. Further, BCCA will attempt to work with government to develop a long-term strategy for co-op growth and development, in particular as it relates to housing and child care.

- Development or enactment of any regulation, including the enactment of a regulation for the purposes of amending or repealing a regulation
- Development, establishment, amendment or termination of any program, policy, directive or guideline of the government of British Columbia or a Provincial entity
- Awarding, amendment or termination of any contract, grant or financial benefit by or on behalf of the government of British Columbia or a Provincial entity
