Advocate on current challenges in the BC strata insurance market and national commercial insurance. Engage and work with government to improve challenges currently seen with strata corporation insurance to improve affordability. This includes mandatory education for strata board councils, improved building codes to improve property losses and improve risk, amend depreciation report requirements to remove exemptions. Advocate for a standard strata lot in the Strata Property Act. Engage and work with government to improve issues in national commercial insurance market.
