GTMA Canada advances global health and economic collaboration by facilitating engagement among stakeholders in the social determinants of health, international trade, economics, and medical innovation, with a focus on Canada and the Asia-Pacific region. Its core function is to integrate government, academic, community and professional resources to support international cooperation. As a federal in-house lobbying organization (No. 961531-381945-1), GTMA Canada communicates with public office holders to advance regional economic priorities. This includes convening investors and government officials and advocating for policies that enhance Canada’s competitiveness as an investment destination. In accordance with the Lobbying Act, GTMA Canada must register as a lobbyist when undertaking lobbying activities in British Columbia.
