Description of Activities:
BCCA engages collaboratively with Ministries, Crowns, and other provincial stakeholders to foster mutual understanding of key industry issues. Together we work to achieve positive outcomes through innovative approaches to policy, legislation, taxation, programming, regulation and public engagement. As representatives of BC's industrial, commercial, and institutional construction sector, the BCCA works to ensure that BC is home to a world-class construction sector that demonstrates exceptional productivity and resilience.

Descriptions of the organization's activity in previous versions:
- BCCA engages collaboratively with Ministries, Crowns, and other provincial stakeholders to foster mutual understanding of key industry issues. As representatives of BC's industrial, commercial, and institutional construction sector, the BCCA works to ensure that BC is home to a world-class construction sector that demonstrates exceptional productivity and resilience.
- To ensure that the policies, requirements and interests of the ICI Construction Industry are recognized and accepted by government and their agencies. To promote and achieve the best relationships between the construction associations of the province of BC, the BCCA and other organizations or associations directly or indirectly related to the construction industry and the purchasers of construction and allied services and other industries or their representative bodies. To promote the utilization of standard and ethical practices, documents and tendering procedures in the construction industry.
- To ensure that the policies, requirements and interests of the construction industry are recognized and accepted by governments and their agencies. To promote and achieve the best relationships between: the construction associations of the province of British Columbia. the British Columbia Construction Association and other organizations or associations directly or indirectly related to the construction industry. the construction industry and the purchasers of construction and allied services.the construction industry and other industries or their representative bodies. To promote the utilization of standard and ethical practices, documents and tendering procedures in the construction industry.
- The central purpose and role of BCCA is defined as: To provide leadership and excellence in the representation of and service to British Columbia's construction industry.
- BCCA's mandate is to ensure policies, requirements and interests of the construction industry are recognized and accepted by governments and their agencies. BCCA exists to promote and achieve the best possible relationships between the province's construction associations, other organizations directly or indirectly related to the industry, purchasers of construction and allied services and between the construction industry and other industries or their representative bodies. BCCA promotes the utilization of standard and ethical practices and documents and tendering procedures.
