BOMA BC has recently developed an emergency mass notification system which will increase communications capabilities in the event of an emergency situation or natural disaster. Quick response times have the power to reduce or eliminate injuries and limit property damage. After receiving our emergency notifications, member buildings can then share the information with employees, tenants and property visitors. Together we are contributing to the development of a safer and more aware community and a communications infrastructure that is unrivaled in Canada. BOMA wishes to work with the Province and in particular, its emergency service agencies to help create a robust and effective mass notification system in British Columbia.
