On-going meetings with Minister and senior Execuive re agricultural programing - four main areas:
1. Deliver Growing Forward programs,
2. Revising or eliminating the Carbon Tax on food,
3. Revising how the PST will apply to agriculture after transition from the HST, and
4. Consultations on other pan-agricultural issues as they arise (for example, BCAC will cc BCMAL into any submissions provided to other ministries) The other target interactions are not of a lobbying nature; in most cases BCAC was contacted by the Minister or senior executive and asked to provide agriculture's input.
