On April 5 UDI expressed long standing concern with municipalities coming up with independent remediation requirements, as it would create a patchwork set of standards, adding cost and time to the development process. UDI suggested that this process should originate from the Province to guarantee consistency.

Soil that is on the site for gardens, playgrounds and landscaping is new uncontaminated soil; 2. Buildings are located on top of a concrete underground parking garage; and 3. The site is a lot-line to lot-line development
