i) Obtain short and long term forest tenure and/or other secure fibre supplies to support the continued operation of Norbord's 100 Mile House oriented strand board facility. ii) Encourage introduction or modification of legislation, regulation and/or policies to promote and enhance the engineered wood products industry and Norbord's business interest by providing recommendations on: increased forest utilization; improved forest stewardship; establishment of new forms of forest tenure; modification of conditions for existing tenures or tenure models; enhancement of long term fibre supplies on Provincial, Regional and local scales; introduction of new or modified means for timber supply assessment, tenure apportionment, allocation, cut control attribution and the measurement and pricing of timber, forest fibre and other forest products.
