The Company operates primarily in the western provinces and offshore the east coast of Canada, but also has international exploration and development interests in the United States and offshore China and Indonesia. Upstream operations include exploration, development and production of crude oil, bitumen, natural gas and NGL. Downstream operations in Canada encompass upgrading of heavy crude oil into premium synthetic crude oil, refining crude oil, marketing of refined petroleum products including gasoline, diesel, ethanol blended fuels, asphalt and ancillary products, and production of ethanol.
