Industry
Arranging meeting between an individual and a public office holder for purpose of lobbying
Introduction, modification or repeal of legislation, a bill or regulation
ECABC is lobbying for Prompt Payment legislation: legislation that removes unnecessary delays in payment for work that has been completed and invoiced. We believe B.C. should pass legislation similar to Ontario's Bill 142, the Construction Lien Amendment Act, 2017. To date, meetings have been held with Minister Eby, MLA Weaver, MLA Ma, MLA Wilkinson, and MLA de Jong.
