AltaGas¿ strategy is to build, own and operate long-life, low-risk power infrastructure assets to deliver strong, stable returns for investors. Growth is focused on clean and renewable sources of energy as the Company seeks to capitalize on increasing demand for clean power while reducing its carbon footprint. Bear Mountain Wind Park in B.C. is now in its second year of operation and is just the beginning of our plan to pursue more wind projects to add to our power portfolio. AltaGas has approximately 1,900 MW of renewable power under development, including 1,500 MW of wind power developments, 205 MW of run-of-river hydroelectric developments and 195 MW run-of-river hydroelectric under construction. As such, AltaGas plans to meet with Ministers and public agents to introduce these projects, and ensure that policies and new regulation continue to align with project development and renewable energy infrastructure in B.C. Moreover, as many of these projects are located on or near Aboriginal land, AltaGas plans to consult with Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation Minister to introduce their plans and the consultation that has and will continue to occur.
